Boston Creek Mines Limited, a subsidiary of Outcrop Explorations, was incorporated in 1983 with the acquisition of both the Amity and the Patterson Mine Properties. Both former producers were small but highgrade copper, gold, silver operations with the ore shipped directly to the Noranda Smelter in Quebec.

These properties are located in Pacaud Township, 16 miles southwest of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. The property is situated in the north-central portion of Pacaud Twp. The village of Boston Creek lies within the property package. Access is easlily accomplished via highway #564 ffrom highway #11 just north of Tarzwell then northeasterly to the village of Boston Creek.. A good gravel road from the village leads southeast to the vicinity of the shaft and southeasterly past the Tretheway-Ossian shaft. Over the years, Boston Creek completed stripping, trenching, mag survey, diamond drilling and bulk sampling. The highgrade copper, which can assay up to 26% copper, .05 ounce gold and 1 ounce silver per ton is associated with iron zones or veins. Over the years, we have discovered several iron zones and all of them identical in regards to the copper, gold, silver mineralzation and grades.

 

The latest diamond drill program (late 90's) also revealed similar mineralization running between the zones, like a stockwork that are not visible or at least not detected on surface. while searching, it became apparent that this property could contain huge tonnage, open pit potential. Now, according to the Resident Geologist, there is also an excellent chance of discovering diamonds on this property as well

The Amity and Patterson Mines have operated intermittently up until 1987. Six of Boston Creek’s claims have been brought to lease and it holds an additional five forty-acre claims, all contiguous. This property is located on a year round road with water, hydro and rail on the Property.

In 1987, Boston Creek Mines Limited mined 300 plus tons of high-grade copper ore from an open cut on surface. There are several Reports written about this property.
